Our Mission
Closer to Source
Metafuse builds future-ready tools for fearless makers..
In the Heart of Pollution
This is not a story about waste. It is a story about access to materials.
Metafuse began in Indonesia, a place known for craftsmanship and culture, but also one where plastic waste is impossible to ignore.
Bottles, wrappers, and discarded packaging are everywhere.
At some point, we had to ask whether this was simply something we were going to accept.
What stood out was the contradiction. These same materials form the backbone of modern manufacturing.
Plastics are not inherently disposable. They are engineered materials.
The real limitation is access to the tools needed to work with them.
3D printing made this clear.
With the right tools, polymers can be reshaped and reused at a human scale, not only in factories, but by individuals who understand their materials.
The Burning Question
We focus on material access and material control. We build tools that let people work directly with real polymers such as pellets, flakes, and additives, without relying on perfect feedstock or centralized supply chains.
This is why Materium exists, a compact screw extruder for experimentation and production beyond filament. CHOPPER exists to make pellets accessible where they are expensive or unavailable. MP-30 exists because many useful polymers were never meant to work on hobbyist build plates.
These tools are not meant to replace existing workflows. They exist to expand what is possible where materials are abundant, but tools are limited.
Metafuse builds for the gaps.
What We Stand For
Discovery
Our team kept discovering new ways of using our tools. From Hybrid plastics, polymer alloys, to cost saving. Our products are made to keep up with your ideas.
Responsibility
As one who benefits from such rapid advancement of FDM, we believe in responsible 3D Printing by giving plastics a new meaning.
Community
We only protect the parts that define Metafuse. Everything else is open-source and built from readily available, off-the-shelf components, or improved by you.
Join the Sustainable 3D Printing Revolution
Reduce plastic waste and save on filament costs. It’s time to upgrade your printer.
